Job Title: Extruder Operator
Location: Sparta, NJ
Job Description: We are seeking a Extruder Operator. This position is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys hands-on manufacturing work.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and start extruders safely and efficiently.
- Perform die changes and restart extruders.
- Monitor production for quality and productivity.
- Use small measurement tools to verify product dimensions.
- Complete required training and documentation.
- Perform basic computer tasks, including reading and entering work-order information.
Qualifications:
- Mechanical knowledge or hands-on mechanical experience.
- Ability to use basic measurement tools.
- Ability to read and speak English.
- Basic computer skills; strong computer experience is not required.
- Manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
Hours: 3rd Shift Sunday - Thursday 11PM - 7:30AM Temp- to -Perm
Training begins on 1st shift hours Monday -Friday 7 AM - 3:30PM then transitions to 3rd shift hours.
Potential to keep on 1st shift for right candidate.
Pay: $21.00–$22.50
