About the Job
Job Title: Machine Operator (Thurs.-Sun.).
Location: Andover, NJ.
Job Description:
- Operation of rubber mixing, molding, and extruding equipment.
- Utilizes various types of shop equipment to manufacture various rubber parts.
- Works from and in accordance with specifications and design criteria including but not limited to verbal instructions, work orders, and drawings.
- Performs quality checks using a wide variety of precision measuring instruments; maintains accurate dimensional tolerances based upon drawings.
- Selects the appropriate tools to maximize efficiency and ensure quality of product.
- Sets up and operates a variety of machines including but not limited to mixing mills, presses, and extruders and ensure the proper utilization of equipment and material
Requirements:
- Minimum two years of relevant experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of measuring tools/gauges.
- Understanding of technical drawings.
- Ability to stand throughout the day and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic math skills.
Hours: 3 week training; Monday-Thursday, 6:30 am - 5:00 pm then transitions to Thursday-Sunday 6:30 am - 5:00 pm temp-to-perm.
Pay: $20.
